Events Committee

The Event Committee performs tasks that support the planning, management and execution of regularly scheduled and ad hoc GBC events.  The Event Committee also supports activities involved in growing and maintaining a volunteer base that can run and staff GBC events. The committee will be responsible for:

  • Working with the GBC board of directors and other GBC committees to understand and define event management needs
  • Creating event management templates to speed determination of overall event and staffing needs.
  • Provide event management services for regularly scheduled and ad hoc GBC events
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Committee to recruit volunteers to staff GBC sponsored events
