Meet the Nominees

Three IIBA GBC Board Positions are up for Election.

The three positions of office open for election in 2017 are: Secretary, Treasurer, and VP Marketing and Communication. Elected officers serve a two-year term, effective July 1st – June 31st, of the term-ending year. To be nominated a person must be an IIBA GBC Member in good standing.

Open Position – Secretary
Secretary The Secretary for the IIBA Greater Boston Chapter oversees day to day operations of the Chapter and all operational portfolios, keeps records of all Chapter and BOD business meetings, and is the Secretary of Record for the Chapter’s Incorporation with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition, the Secretary manages all communications received, and presides over meetings when the President is unavailable.

Open Position - Treasurer
Treasurer The Treasurer for the IIBA Greater Boston Chapter is accountable for the preparation and accuracy of Chapter financial documents, controls all Chapter monies in accordance with the directives of Chapter BOD, and establishes/maintains Chapter bank accounts.

  TJ Williams 

TJ has been a Business Analyst at Hanover Insurance for 2 years. He received a BA Certification from George Washing University in August 2016. During these two years he have been an IIBA member. While being a member he have been assisting, and facilitating the Worcester remote location for meetings. The Worcester Site has been working on growing our numbers of attendees – Spreading the word to Analysts all over Hanover, not just in the Technology space. 

Open Position – VP, Marketing and Communications
Chess The Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the IIBA Greater Boston Chapter provides leadership in developing and overseeing management of a comprehensive Chapter marketing and communication strategy, as well as understands the market segments, needs of members, and others impacted by the field of business analysis.  They also assist with securing Sponsorships.


Nominee for VP, Marketing and Communications
 Rich Rinker

As a current board member, Rich has become acclimated to the various board positions and responsibilities, and believes his talents would serve well in this role. 

He currently holds the position of Director of Product Development at BlueSoHo, a marketing and advertising services firm.  He is comfortable in the role of product manager, and aim to treat the GBC as a portfolio of products - membership, speaker series, skills days, study groups, etc.  These products will benefit from sponsorship and promotional marketing / awareness campaigns.
