Mentoring

The Mentoring Committee is to provide members with the opportunity to improve their BA skills in convenient and affordable ways by utilizing the vast business analysis experience of our members and that of qualified experts within our local network. Such mentoring can be delivered via webinars, roundtables or professional development classroom style sessions.

Webinars

Webinars will typically be scheduled during weekdays or evenings and will be 1 to 1.5 hours in length.  Topics will be determined by the chapter members and must be will be aligned with the knowledge areas, techniques or underlying competencies in the BABOK. One (1) CDU will be awarded for each hour of participation in the webinar.

Roundtables

Roundtables may be scheduled during weekday evenings or over weekends.  Topics will be determined by the chapter members and must be will be aligned with the knowledge areas or underlying competencies in the BABOK. One (1) CDU will be awarded for each hour of roundtable participation.

Professional Development Days

Professional development days may be scheduled for whole or half days during the week or on Saturdays.  Topics will aligned with the BABOK and be presented by qualified experts so that the sessions will qualify for one(1) professional development (PD) hour for each training hour that will count towards the professional development requirement for certification application.
