Vice President, Professional Development

The Vice President, Professional Development is an officer and shall be responsible for providing leadership to the chapter in promoting business analysis professionalism through a program of educational seminars, workshops, presentations, and other services designed to help BA professionals achieve certification/credentialing and to advance in their careers. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Recommend topics for chapter meetings for approval by BOD
  2. Secure speakers for chapter meetings
  3. Plan, schedule and communicate CBAP Study Groups
  4. Plan, schedule and communicate webinars
  5. Negotiate and plan training opportunities for members under beneficial terms
  6. Identify new offerings, services and programs of value to members

General responsibilities for all BOD roles include:

  1. Charter committees and appoint a chairperson as required
  2. Recruit volunteers
  3. Manage and retain volunteers
  4. Develop a succession plan; identify and develop their successor(s)
  5. Communicate appropriate information with Chapter BOD Members
  6. Remain a Chapter member in good standing throughout their term as an officer of the Chapter
  7. Proactively fulfill all responsibilities in accordance with Chapter's Charter
